8 Reasons To Fall In Love With The AGA Range

1. LONGEVITY
Produced by skilled craftsmen in Britain, each AGA is built to last. It stands apart from the crowd in an age where appliances commonly break down or become obsolete within a few years.

2. EACH AGA IS MADE UP OF UP TO 70% RECYCLED MATERIALS
Since the very first model was made nearly 100 years ago, a large proportion of each AGA (approximately 70%) is made up of recycled materials. Car gearboxes, guttering, old machinery, cast-iron cookers, door fittings, drain covers, lamp posts and much more can all be found in the world’s most famous cooker.

3. AGA EVOLUTION
Building on a century of history, AGA is constantly striving to develop products to complement our changing lifestyles. Though the DNA remains the same – cast-iron radiant heat – most of the new generation AGA’s run on electricity. Ovens and hotplates can be controlled independently, meaning greater flexibility and energy efficiency. Some models now feature induction cooking and optional fan-forced oven.

4. SIZE
There’s a size to suit every kitchen. From just 60cm wide, right up to 170cm and beyond.

5. BENEFITS OF CAST-IRON COOKING
AGA cooked food tastes better simply because it is better. Cast-iron radiant cooking heats food gently, locking in moisture, flavour and nutrients. It is also fabulously forgiving. If you don’t believe us, read the study.

6. 17 BEAUTIFUL COLOURS TO CHOOSE FROM
While most cookers are spray painted in minutes, the AGA cooker’s multiple protective coats of vitreous enamel take three days and three separate firings to complete. It is this painstaking enamelling process that helps ensure the working life of an AGA cooker is measured not in years, but in decades. The exterior enamelled parts on AGA cookers are individually crafted and hand-finished at our factory in Telford, making each one unique. AGA models are available in 17 beautiful, vitreous enamel colours, from contemporary neutrals to striking bright colours, you’re sure to find a shade to suit your home.

It is differences like these that set the AGA apart from the uniformity of mass-produced cookers and places it in a class of its own.

7. THE AGA RANGE IS SELF CLEANING
The hot AGA cast-iron ovens are self-cleaning, any food spillages that may occur are quickly carbonised by the heat of the ovens and simply disappears. To keep your ovens in top condition all year round it is encouraged that you occasionally brush the interior with an AGA Wire Brush when cold. You may find that the best time for you to clean your cooker is during the summer months in perfect time for winter.

8. SO MUCH MORE THAN JUST A COOKER
When you have an AGA there’s no need for so many other appliances. An AGA can cook perfect rice, toast, delicious toasties, bake bread, dehydrate fruit & herbs, boil water in no time for a cup of tea, dry clothes, iron clothes, and of course in the cooler months provide enticing ambient warmth that truly makes it the heart of the home.
