Mulled Cider

Ingredients

  • 1.2L cider
  • 85g brown sugar
  • 3 round allspice
  • 3 whole cloves (Star Anise)
  • 1 cinnamon stick

Decoration:

  • Sliced orange
  • Cinnamon sticks

Method

Place all the ingredients into a stockpot and bring to the boil on the boiling plate.

Place in the simmering oven for 15 minutes, then strain and serve hot.

Decorate with finely sliced citrus fruit if liked and a cinnamon stick or two.
